Colossal Squid (Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni)
Though it is known from only a few specimens, current estimates put its maximum size at 12–14 metres (39–46 ft) long, based on analysis of smaller and immature specimens, making it the largest known invertebrate.
Unlike the giant squid, whose arms and tentacles only have suckers lined with small teeth, the colossal squid’s limbs are also equipped with sharp hooks: some swiveling, others three-pointed.
So this is one of my favourite tattoos that I have. An octopus drawn by my best friend Abigail Harding because I love Octopus’!
It was done by Leanne Orridge at Anatomy Tattoo Studio, Barnsley. It took 3 sittings to complete, and I absolutely love her. My little octopus comes on all the tree-climbs and long adventures I go on!
Redid the mind flayer earlier.
…i feel i messed up with the head and neck. I really should practice more with drawing weird squid people.
Though the backgrounds a lot better in comparison I suppose.
